We are moving to Hoylake – it’s really happening!

This was posted a couple of weeks ago but has somehow disappeared? One of these days I’ll get the hang of this technology…..anyway….
The Potting Shed in Heswall will be closing its doors to the public for the last time on Sunday 6th April. It will be very sad to leave, we’ve been happy here (mostly) but it’s time to move on. We’ll be closed Mon-Fri (7th-11th) and we’ll re-open in Hoylake on Saturday 12th April at 12noon.
We started this process in October 2012. Can you believe it? We’ve had delay after delay, problem after problem. At times we felt like giving up, but we’ve made it! There are still a few hurdles to overcome – (Scottish Power messed up and the three-phase electricity won’t be connected until the following week for instance) but we’ll be ready enough to open.
We are running a competition on Facebook to find a family who want to have a VIP afternoon of free painting, food and drink thrown in on our opening day. They’ll cut the ribbon and open the new Shed so anyone who enters the competition must be happy to have their photos taken for the local paper and the website. If you’d like to enter and you’re not on Facebook just pop an email to us through the contact page on this website, summing up The shed in 5 words or less. Then we just need the number of adults and children in your family (max 6 please) and that’s it. All names will go in a hat and be drawn on Thursday 10th April.
Come along and see us, pop in and have a nosey around. We think you’ll like it!
